Elevate the visitor experience as a Clerk at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax. This seasonal position calls for a customer-focused candidate with experience in retail and a passion for history.
In this role, you will develop and present engaging tours, manage group bookings, and handle sales transactions using POS systems. Your strong communication skills and ability to welcome diverse visitors will be key to enhancing their experience at one of Canada’s premier maritime museums.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in coordinating group bookings and events
• Operate admissions and retail POS systems
• Provide information on programming and museum offerings
• Deliver high-quality customer service in a vibrant setting
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 11 education plus 3 years related experience
• Strong interest in Nova Scotia’s history and culture
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Experience with handling cash and customer interactions
• Ability to adapt in busy work environments
Provide visitors with enriching experiences through customer service excellence at the Maritime Museum.
