You will report to the Manager of Information Technology while handling calls through IWK Health’s voice systems. Ideal candidates have a background in customer service or call center environments and demonstrate strong communication skills. This role places importance on attention to detail and commitment to Family Centred Care, making it vital for those seeking to contribute meaningfully.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process all incoming calls courteously and efficiently
• Maintain communication systems according to IWK Health policy
• Support inter-professional team dynamics with excellent interpersonal skills
• Handle varied shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Utilize Microsoft Office and technology for call management
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Keyboarding speed minimum of 40 wpm
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Commitment to continuous learning in caregiving
