Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets;

and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.

At this time, we are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Concierge to join our team on a part-time basis at Southport Apartments.
The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday 4pm – 7pm plus on-call phone duties. If you enjoy interacting with others, are passionate about providing a clean and safe environment for residents, and take pride in a job well done, this may be the role for you!

• Greeting building tenants and guests;
• Coordinating guest suites and common room bookings;
• Conducting move in/move out inspections and getting units ready for re-rental;
• Shared on call responsibilities;
• Delivering notices and tenant correspondence;
• Completion of administration work between building and head office;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent oral communication skills;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office;
• Able to work as part of a team and independently;
• Positive, honest, and motivated;
• Previous concierge experience is considered an asset.
