As a Dental Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting Dental Officers by providing direct clinical assistance and managing dental operations. This position involves crafting dental appliances, administering emergency care, and carrying out infection control procedures.
Your role may extend to military clinics and field deployments, ensuring comprehensive dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical support in military dental care
• Fabricate and repair dental devices and impressions
• Conduct preventative measures, including patient education
• Maintain and repair dental equipment and tools
• Manage emergencies and respond to dental crises
Requirements:
• Diploma in Level II Dental Assisting or similar qualification
• Recent clinical experience of at least 900 hours
• Relevant provincial registration or license where required
• Physical readiness to meet Armed Forces standards
• Adaptable for various deployment scenarios
