Dental Faculty Instructor Position

Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Join our Dental Faculty team as an instructor where you'll guide Dental Assisting students in practical lab and clinic settings. You will demonstrate procedures and evaluate students' performance.

As a Dental Faculty member, you will provide dedicated support to students during their learning experience. This role requires you to teach individually and in groups while ensuring health and safety practices are enforced in both clinical and lab environments. Your expertise in Dental Assisting will greatly influence the development of the next generation of dental professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical instruction in a lab and clinic environment

• Demonstrate specific Dental Assisting procedures to students

• Observe and evaluate student performance in real-time

• Enforce health and safety standards effectively

Requirements:

• Active Dentist licensure in Nova Scotia

• Minimum five years of occupational experience

• Supervisory experience in educational settings

• Basic internet and digital skills needed
