Key Responsibilities
Casual teaching position(s) in pre-clinical, clinical, and external rotation settings in the undergraduate Dental Hygiene program, as assigned by the Director. This appointment will run August 24, 2026 – April 16, 2027.
Year 1 DEHY 2831 Fundamentals of Clinical Dental Hygiene provides an introduction to the knowledge, skills, and concepts necessary to understand clinical dental hygiene using the process of dental hygiene process of care; and application of materials from companion didactic course DEHY 2812 Fundamentals of Dental Hygiene Theory.
Year 1 DEHY 2829 Radiology includes technical and theoretical aspects of dental radiology, hazards and safe use of radiation, as well as interpretation of radiographic images for dental hygiene care.
Year 2 DEHY 3001 Dental Hygiene Clinic is the application of skills, knowledge, and attitudes to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care. Students gain experience with supervision in the school clinical setting and by attending internal and external rotations.
