Bedford Basin Women's Health Clinic is a comprehensive, patient-centered clinic offering specialized care to individuals with ovaries team is committed to providing inclusive and supportive reproductive and gynecological health services, including Pap testing, menopause counselling, birth control counselling, IUD and IUS insertions and removals, and Nexplanon insertions and removals. We also assess and manage concerns such as abnormal uterine bleeding and dysmenorrhea, among a broad range of other women’s health issues.
The clinic is supported by experienced clerical staff and an in-house dietician, contributing to a collaborative and holistic care environment.
Bedford Basin Women's Health Clinic is seeking a family physician to provide coverage from late April 2025 to June 2026.
Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week.
Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
