- Review and refine clinical workflows specific to Nova Scotia to improve efficiency, compliance, and physician ease of practice.
- Maintain close communication with practicing Nova Scotia physicians, including active presence on Slack and participation in local meetings.
- Serve as a clinical leader supporting the growth of Nova Scotia’s virtual care presence.
- Liaise with Nova Scotia health authorities, organizations, and partners as appropriate.
- Provide input on Nova Scotia-specific product needs, regulatory considerations, and physician experience improvements.
While the role is Nova Scotia-focused, the Provincial Medical Lead also participates in the MD Leads team:
- Attend and contribute to MD Roundtable meetings.
- Support initial onboarding of new physicians across provinces as needed.
- Partner with the product and operations teams on improvement initiatives.
- Provide troubleshooting support on emerging physician issues across all provinces.
