As a School Counsellor, you will develop and implement a comprehensive counselling program for students, addressing personal and academic challenges. Collaborate closely with teachers and community resources to create supportive frameworks. By leading initiatives aimed at mental health and conflict resolution, you'll play a crucial role in building resilience and executive functioning in the student body.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and group counselling for emotional well-being
• Collaborate with educators for tailored support strategies
• Establish and oversee social-emotional learning objectives
• Facilitate peer mentorship and conflict resolution programs
• Lead proactive mental health initiatives across the school
Requirements:
• Master's degree in School Counselling or related area
• Registered Counselling Therapist or equivalent nearing full certification
• 3-5 years of counselling experience in an educational context
• Strong communication and coaching abilities
• Passion for continuous professional development in counselling
