Join Dalhousie University as a part-time Academic Lab Instructor in Halifax, Nova Scotia, teaching Functional and Clinical Anatomy to graduate students. Shape future healthcare professionals through hands-on instruction.
Instructors are needed in the Department of Medical Neuroscience for two part-time roles from September 2026 to December 2026. Your main responsibilities will involve teaching human gross anatomy, guiding Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy students within a laboratory setting. Additional duties include participating in exam evaluations and coordinating with senior instructors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead lab sessions for anatomy instruction
• Provide clear demonstrations of anatomical concepts
• Evaluate and grade student assessments
• Collaborate with senior instructors for effective teaching
• Encourage student engagement and support
Requirements:
• Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy required
• Established record of teaching experience
• Comprehensive understanding of human gross anatomy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Fairness and positivity in grading
