Part-Time Instructor, Personal & Professional Effectiveness

Location: Halifax Regional Municipality

Teach the Personal & Professional Effectiveness course at Dalhousie University from September to December 2026. Engage MBA Corporate Residency students in a dynamic, in-person classroom setting.

We seek a Part-Time Academic for the BUSI 5004 course, scheduled Thursdays from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. This role requires delivering three-hour lectures, preparing assessments, and offering weekly consultation to support student development. Applicants should have a graduate management degree and proven teaching expertise in related topics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging three-hour lectures each week

• Prepare assessments to evaluate student performance

• Provide two hours of weekly student consultations

• Participate in team meetings to align course content

• Report progress to the MBA Program Director

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in management or related field

• Proven record of effective teaching experience

• Strong communication and coaching skills

• Industry experience considered a significant asset

• Ability to incorporate industry themes in course material
