The School of Social Work at Dalhousie University is seeking candidates who self-identify as (dis) abled to apply for this tenure-stream role. You will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, including a new Disability Justice course, while engaging in impactful community scholarship. This role also includes responsibilities in research, teaching, and promoting improvement within the School and Faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and graduate social work courses
• Deliver courses both on site and online
• Engage in research focused on Health Equity and Resilience
• Participate in School, Faculty, and University activities
• Promote continuous improvement in teaching and learning
Requirements:
• BSW or MSW required;
PhD preferred
• Excellence in teaching and research demonstrated
• Experience in social work practice preferred
• Eligibility for registration with NSCSW
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and scholarly publications
Drive excellence in social work education and research while enhancing (dis)
Ability scholarship at Dalhousie University.
