Job Title: Criminology Instructor (Psychology of Addiction)
Hours: Part‑time position, 3‑week contract. Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Start Date: September 21, 2026
End Date: October 16, 2026
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver the 3‑week module “Psychology of Addiction” for the Criminology Diploma program.
- Use a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet individual learning styles in a safe and respectful environment.
- Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, record daily attendance, and grade tests, assignments, and exams as required.
- Stay current with industry trends to enhance the learning experience.
What you bring to the position:
- University degree in psychology or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of practical work in criminology, addictions, or psychology, with experience gained within the criminal justice system.
- Previous teaching experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
This position is for an existing vacancy.
