Join Dalhousie University as a full-time Fleet School Instructor focused on non-credit educational courses. Teach engaging subjects at Canadian Forces Base Halifax, including Project Management.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic curriculum to students at various career stages. Your insights into engineering education will help create supplementary materials and monitor student success through innovative assessments. Collaboration with the Naval Fleet School team and providing support to part-time instructors are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses according to Master Lesson Plans
• Create supplementary educational materials like videos
• Develop assessments to measure student learning
• Complete grading and progress reports for students
• Mentor new part-time instructors and support their growth
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of two years of higher education teaching experience
• Strong adult education expertise and communication skills
• Ability to craft engaging supplementary materials
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
