Educator in Long-Term Care

Position: Staff Educator in Long-Term Care
Support Departmental Managers as a Staff Educator focused on employee training in long-term care environments. Assess needs, develop programs, and meet mandatory training requirements.

We seek a dedicated Staff Educator to enhance training efforts within our facility. This role requires a two-year diploma in health/social services, and two years of adult education experience. You will deliver innovative training solutions while leveraging your communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess training needs for various staff levels

• Develop and coordinate comprehensive training programs

• Deliver mandatory training per legislation requirements

• Communicate effectively with managers and staff

• Use Microsoft Office Suite for training materials

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma or degree in health or social services

• Minimum two years of experience in adult education

• Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approach

• Experience in long-term care settings preferred

• Current Criminal Record Check required
