Position: Coordinator for Faith Development Programs
Join the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth as a part-time Coordinator for Faith Development Programs. Enhance spiritual growth through engaging faith formation initiatives and community support.

This role emphasizes the development and execution of catechetical processes for families preparing for sacraments. You will engage with children, youth, and adult programs while ensuring all volunteers meet essential protocols. By working closely with various ministries, you will foster a nurturing community aligned with Christ’s teachings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate faith formation initiatives for all ages

• Prepare families for sacraments of initiation

• Maintain confidential records of participants

• Address questions with pastoral care

• Organize parish events and training sessions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology or equivalent experience

• Active Catholic involved in parish life

• Passion for working with youth and families

• Knowledge in catechetical methods and preparation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
