Shape young minds with Upper Canada Child Care as a full-time or casual educator in Tottenham. This role focuses on early childhood education and requires availability for split shifts.
Upper Canada Child Care seeks Registered Early Childhood Educators or equivalent (Child and Youth Worker, OCT Member) and Assistant Educators for its programs. The positions involve working in a before and after school setting, ensuring a play-based curriculum aligned with educational standards. Successful candidates will enhance children's development while fostering communication with parents and community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support compliance with Ministry of Education standards
• Provide assistance with daily care needs
• Engage with children to create positive learning experiences
• Participate in training and development sessions
• Document program progress and administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Up-to-date registration with the College of ECEs
• CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
• Previous experience with play-based programming
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and teams
