Faculty Position in Adult Learning Program

Join NSCC's Adult Learning Program in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a full-time Faculty member. You'll provide engaging theoretical and practical instruction, including for English Language learners.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and a minimum of five years teaching experience. You'll collaborate to create educational experiences for diverse learners and engage with classroom management, curriculum design, and health and safety practices. Teaching methods may include in-class, online, and blended delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in subjects like Human Biology and Digital Technology

• Collaboratively design and deliver diverse educational experiences

• Maintain health and safety regulations in classroom environments

• Engage in academic advising and curriculum development

• Represent NSCC in liaison with business and industry

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like Education or Sciences

• 5+ years of teaching experience at high school or post-secondary

• Experience in curriculum development and e-learning technology

• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

• Commitment to inclusion and excellence in education
