Adult Education Facilitator in Cowessess

Support Adult Basic Education at Southeast College as a Facilitator in Cowessess First Nation. Engage with students and enhance their learning experience through dedicated support and technology assistance.

This contract role runs from August 24, 2026, to May 31, 2027. You will support both instructors and students in Live Online courses and facilitate successful program completion. Key aspects include monitoring progress, providing tutorials, and managing instructional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers and students in Live Online courses

• Assist with technology and computer usage

• Oversee tests and exams for student progress

• Manage and distribute instructional materials

• Conduct demonstrations and tutorials for students

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma plus one year post-secondary education

• Educational Assistant certificate or Bachelor of Education preferred

• Minimum one year experience as an Educational Assistant

• Experience in adult education is an asset

• Training in cross-cultural learning environments is a plus
