Reporting to the Manager of Student Accessibility Services, your role focuses on leading accommodation planning and support. You will address student accommodation requests, collaborate with qualified professionals, and ensure that strategies align with NSCC’s commitment to inclusivity. This position requires three years of relevant experience in a post-secondary setting, alongside strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and approval for student accommodations
• Evaluate documentation and consult assessing professionals
• Develop learning strategies and integrate technology
• Organize services and facilitate funding applications
• Collaborate with faculty on implementation of plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum three years supporting academic accommodations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, assistive technologies
• Knowledge of adult learning and disabilities
• Experience in workshop preparation and delivery
Support student's educational experiences through effective accommodation planning and a commitment to diversity.
