Naval Operations Training Subject Matter Expert
Lead naval operations training with Lockheed Martin Canada, applying warfare expertise and training design skills at the customer site full-time. Support Royal Canadian Navy Force Generation through tactical and operational training solutions.
This senior Naval Subject Matter Expert advises, develops, and delivers training across warfare domains. You will collaborate with synthetic trainers, technical teams, and customer stakeholders on Combat System sustainment programs. The work includes analyzing, designing, scheduling, integrating, and delivering training products for Naval Warfare Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide naval SME input into training analysis, design, and delivery
- Plan and deliver simulated IT&E and Collective Training events
- Instruct and mentor naval officers and senior NCO operators
- Support lesson plan integration and scenario development
- Lead training continuous improvement activities
- Operations Room Officer or Warfare Director equivalent qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and nine years’ professional experience, or related master’s degree and seven years
- Knowledge of CAF operations, Rules of Engagement, and RCN cross-domain operations
- Training analysis, design, development, and evaluation experience
- Experience with Lockheed Martin Combat Management System 330
