The Building Portfolio Specialist reports to the Building Performance Lead and coordinates energy conservation initiatives. You will work closely with diverse teams, including project managers and engineers, to improve asset management and facility operations. Your expertise will support Nova Scotia's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions while enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on energy conservation initiatives
• Supervise mediation on energy-related concerns
• Plan and monitor new energy initiatives
• Analyze building operating costs for budgeting
• Develop work plans to improve energy performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years experience
• Knowledge of building systems and software
• Valid Driver’s License for site visits
• Experience with energy standards and codes
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
Enhance building performance and energy efficiency in a collaborative environment with the Department of Public Works' innovative initiatives.
