Looking for an Engineer to improve production norms in the shipbuilding sector. Enhance efficiency and consistency in production through analysis and innovative practices.
This role requires a focus on designing and refining production norms for various operational activities. You'll collaborate closely with planning and production teams, utilizing data-driven insights to support continual process enhancements. Your independent work will involve monitoring production activities and facilitating training on norm calculation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance production norm calculators
• Develop production norms as per evolving needs
• Conduct time studies to refine norms
• Support CUT and FAB process development
• Provide training for effective norm tool usage
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or equivalent
• P.Eng. designation required or in progress
• 4–10 years in complex manufacturing environments
• Applied engineering in production settings
• Excellent analytical skills with detail orientation
