Structural Engineer

Position Overview  GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role is full‑time, permanent, and on‑site, supporting civil, residential, and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities   Develop structural design, drafting and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil3D and Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to support structural projects from concept through completion.
Conduct structural assessments and prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications   Experience in structural engineering design and project coordination.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and other CAD/design software.
Knowledge of Micro Station, Mathcad, Civil3D or Bluebeam is an asset.
Familiarity with Nova Scotia building codes, regulations and construction standards is an asset.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, attention‑to‑detail and communication skills.
Ability to work on‑site regularly in Halifax.
