Shape the future of gold mining as a Project Superintendent with Atlantic Operations in Nova Scotia. Take on a dynamic role that enhances your leadership within a safety-focused environment.
This role, reporting to the General Manager of Projects, will see you in Halifax, actively coordinating vital engineering projects like 15-Mile and Beaver Dam. You will oversee operations, ensuring the effectiveness of design and engineering activities, while nurturing a culture of safety and compliance. Your contributions directly impact project success while supporting long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for safety and operational excellence
• Direct engineering teams and manage external consultants
• Assess project risks and implement control practices
• Align engineering work with permitting and project schedules
• Present to community and regulatory stakeholders
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Bachelor's degree in mining or metallurgical engineering
• 5-10 years in a similar field
• Experience with NI43-101 or JORC reporting standards
• Background in operational roles is preferred
