As a Senior Engineering Geologist, you will leverage over a decade of experience to lead assignments involving site characterization, slope stability, and geohazard evaluations.
Your role includes providing expert oversight on geological investigations while translating subsurface data into actionable recommendations. You'll engage clients, support proposal development, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering geology assignments and site investigations
• Provide technical oversight and peer reviews for projects
• Interpret geological data for effective client recommendations
• Assist in project planning and client engagement
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff in professional development
Requirements:
• Degree in Geological Engineering, Geoscience, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in engineering geology
• Registered or eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Nova Scotia
• Proven project delivery experience from investigation to construction
• Strong communication skills for complex data explanations
Utilize your geological expertise to support GEI's Halifax team and impact engineering geology on a regional and international scale.
