Join IMP as a Power Engineer focusing on the operation and maintenance of stationary engines and mechanical equipment. This role ensures effective utility services for industrial processes with minimal supervision.
As a Power Engineer, you'll be integral to maintaining boilers, pumps, and generators while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You'll perform daily equipment maintenance, record operational data, and provide on-job training to others in the team. Your expertise will enhance overall operational efficiency in a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start and observe equipment for optimal performance
• Analyze temperature and pressure readings for combustion efficiency
• Compile records on equipment performance and serviceability
• Conduct daily maintenance and minor repairs on machines
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Power Engineer Technology program
• Fourth-Class Ticket issued by the Department of Labour
• Knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Commitment to health and safety policies
• Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
