Naval Operations Specialist at Royal Canadian Navy

Become a pivotal Naval Operations Integration Specialist on the End User Product Development Team. Ensure that future Royal Canadian Navy operators receive effective and safe systems for operational use.
In this senior role, you will bridge technical delivery with operational experience, focusing on developing Operability Statements (OPSTATs). Collaborate with subject matter experts, Human Systems Integration, and Training teams to ensure that naval systems are ready for effective use. Your engagement in system testing, documentation, and trials will reflect the needs of the fleet and operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor subcontractor OPSTATs delivery and progress

• Coordinate SME reviews for OPSTAT submissions

• Extract requirements for HSI and crewing teams

• Participate in Integrated Product Teams to represent users

• Support documentation for integration, design, and testing
Requirements:

• 8+ years naval operations experience on surface combatants

• Strong understanding of naval procedures and workflows

• Experience in documentation and system evaluation

• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders

• Strong organizational skills for multiple deliverables
