Engineering Application Support Specialist

Thales is seeking an Engineering Application Support Specialist for a hybrid role in Halifax, Canada. This position emphasizes technical support for engineering applications, installations, and user assistance.
In this critical role, you will maintain the technical environment and support engineering applications. You will be responsible for tasks such as hardware upgrades, server patches, and responding to users' configuration needs. Additionally, you will provide administrative support and end-user assistance to engineers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory of hardware and software applications

• Collaborate with IS/IT for security and infrastructure needs

• Install and configure new applications and updates

• Customize tools based on engineering requirements

• Administer user roles and application security
Requirements:

• 1+ years in IS/IT or engineering application support

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Excellent customer service orientation

• Proficient communication skills in English
