As a vital member of GEI's Halifax team, you will manage complex engineering geology assignments and provide technical oversight for geotechnical investigations. Your experience will help in defining project outcomes while ensuring effective site characterizations. Additionally, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration and learning by mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering geology assignments and evaluate geohazards
• Oversee geological and geotechnical investigations with precision
• Deliver clear recommendations based on subsurface data
• Engage clients and contribute to project planning
• Support multidisciplinary partnerships across Canadian offices
Requirements:
• Degree in Geological Engineering or related field
• Over 10 years of engineering geology experience
• Eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo. registration in Nova Scotia
• Proven project delivery from investigation to support
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex conditions
