Thales Canada seeks a Coastal Engineering Services Manager to join the Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs team for the Royal Canadian Navy. You'll collaborate with the Operational Support Manager to oversee technical services, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure regulatory standards are met. This managerial role involves significant client interaction and requires strong leadership in engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the coastal technical presence for in-service programs
• Manage coordination of technical services activities
• Direct Corrective Maintenance and Certification requirements
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders for service delivery
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for in-service contracts
Requirements:
• 10 years in engineering, 5 years in naval industry
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration in Nova Scotia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with HSE standards
