As a self-motivated leader, you will guide young engineers while fostering collaboration and creativity in a stimulating environment. This role emphasizes strong technical skills in electrical engineering principles, project management, and a commitment to mentoring. You will prepare designs, oversee project deliverables, and establish compliance with safety regulations while continually enhancing the team's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a high-performing team of electrical professionals
• Develop project designs including load calculations and schematics
• Oversee project execution and ensure technical deliverables quality
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and consultants
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering Designation (P. Eng.) in Nova Scotia
• Experience in project management and coordination
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Engineering standards
• Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
