Verification & Validation Specialist

Join Weir Canada as a Verification & Validation Specialist in Halifax, NS. This permanent, onsite role focuses on T&E and IV&V support for the River Class Destroyer Test Program.

As a key contributor in this full-time position, you will execute Verification and Validation activities at the Hartlen Point Land-Based Test Facility. Your expertise will ensure compliance with acceptance criteria, while analyzing test data and reporting findings. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and support test planning and analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Verification and Validation activities for systems, software, and hardware

• Analyze T&E data and prepare formal findings

• Generate IV&V plans, procedures, and reports

• Provide advisory input on Test and Trials planning

• Conduct assessments of test environments and supporting systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

• 10 years of Canadian residency for security clearance

• Proficient in Systems Verification techniques

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering Lifecycle

• Strong communication skills in English
