Your role combines scientific insight and engineering expertise while mentoring the next generation of talent.
As an integral member of GEI's Halifax team, you will manage complex engineering geology tasks and provide essential oversight for geotechnical investigations. Use your extensive experience to shape project outcomes and facilitate effective site characterizations. Additionally, you'll foster collaboration and learning by mentoring junior staff, ensuring a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering geology assignments and assess geohazards
• Oversee precise geological and geotechnical investigations
• Provide transparent recommendations from subsurface data
• Engage with clients to enhance project planning
• Support multidisciplinary efforts across Canadian locations
Requirements:
• Degree in Geological Engineering or similar field
• Over 10 years of experience in engineering geology
• Eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Nova Scotia
• Proven track record in project delivery
• Strong communication skills for complex conditions
Drive impactful engineering decisions and guide future projects at GEI in Halifax.
