BMT is seeking a full-time Senior Coastal Consultant to join its Halifax office. This role requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering or Science and experience in coastal or maritime engineering. Key responsibilities include supporting environmental approvals, managing multidisciplinary marine projects, and contributing to coastal resilience efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply ecosystem response modelling for environmental projects

• Collaborate using TUFLOW FV for hydrodynamic simulations

• Manage complex marine projects like aquaculture planning

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations

• Participate in coastal resilience and monitoring initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Science

• Proven expertise in numerical modelling and data analysis

• Leadership experience in consultancy or project settings

• Strong knowledge of Canadian and international environmental standards

• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration
