GHD is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist for its CAR Teams in Bedford, NS. Engage in a variety of tasks, from developing engineering solutions to conducting complex environmental site assessments. Drawing on creativity and technical skills, you'll oversee project teams and manage field activities to ensure compliance with environmental guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and oversee environmental sampling and analysis work plans
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and enforce safety plans
• Supervise teams performing Phase I to IV Environmental Site Assessments
• Write technical reports and develop proposals for regulatory submission
• Manage project teams during field activities and remediation tasks
Requirements:
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience
• Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental regulations
• Strong technical writing, communication, and mentoring skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Atlantic Canada
