Thales Canada is searching for an Electrical Program Engineer to engage in defect management for Royal Canadian Navy vessels, contributing to safety and operational readiness. You will play an integral part in the AJISS team, focusing on technical investigations and engineering changes. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with diverse engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop documentation for electrical systems and installations
• Analyze and resolve technical issues with maritime equipment
• Prepare scopes for external testing and services
• Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Manage engineering changes and configuration control
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Nova Scotia
• 5 years of relevant marine experience
• Access eligibility per export regulations required
• Proficiency in English is essential
