As a member of the AJISS Coastal Support team, you will be tasked with composing specifications and SOWs that help resolve technical issues for the Royal Canadian Navy's fleet.
Your role will require ongoing collaboration with various technical stakeholders, ensuring compliance with quality regulations and operational standards within the naval domain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft specifications and SOWs for maintenance activities
• Work closely with engineers to clarify technical defects
• Perform inspections aboard naval vessels when required
• Assist in developing improvements to technical documentation
• Coordinate materials for effective defect resolution
Requirements:
• 2-year electrical technical diploma or QL5 qualification
• Over 3 years in marine electrical technical roles
• Strong English communication capabilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of safety regulations in maritime settings
