Become a Senior Commissioning Technologist at Rising Edge Group, where you will oversee commissioning efforts for high-voltage electrical systems critical to North American infrastructure.
Your role is essential for maintaining safety and reliability.
In this senior role under the Commissioning Manager, you will be on the frontline, handling the commissioning, testing, and operational maintenance of electrical equipment. Mentorship of junior technologists will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring transfer of expertise in safety and technical best practices. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success and safety of energy delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission and test high voltage power delivery equipment
• Install and maintain protective relays and SCADA systems
• Implement testing strategies for various electrical components
• Review technical documents and develop corrective action plans
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years experience in commissioning and testing
• Familiarity with power transformers and switches
• Ability to work in challenging weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
