Wireless Communication Engineer in West Los Angeles

Silvus is looking for a Wireless Communication Systems Engineer to innovate wireless technology projects in West Los Angeles, CA. This hybrid role involves project design, simulation, and team collaboration.

As part of Silvus' R&D team, you will report to the R&D Director and be integral in system design, algorithm development, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in wireless protocols, RF propagation, and be proficient in MATLAB. You will also engage in testing, documentation, and customer interactions to enhance product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify system requirements

• Develop algorithms for wireless communication

• Perform system simulations and benchmarking

• Support software and FPGA development teams

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related engineering fields

• Minimum three years in wireless communication systems

• Strong knowledge of RF propagation and digital communication

• Proficiency in MATLAB for simulations

• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts
