Technical Writer in Marine Engineering

This role as a Technical Specification Writer will have you crafting Statements of Work and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective defect resolution. Your expertise in electrical systems and previous experience in the marine sector will help improve operational efficiency within the Joint Support Ship program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed Work Instructions and SOWs

• Work with OEMs and ships’ teams to analyze defects

• Conduct investigations onboard and in technical packages

• Assist engineering in identifying TDP shortcomings

• Oversee Service Provider interactions for maintenance work

Requirements:

• Relevant technical diploma or Military certification

• At least 3 years of marine industry experience

• Strong understanding of marine electrical operations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Effective communication skills in English
