You will coordinate complex testing activities for Victoria Class Submarine systems, ensuring readiness and reliability through fault diagnosis and corrective maintenance. As a pivotal technical leader, mentor other specialists, and streamline communication with stakeholders to resolve issues effectively. Moreover, a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out testing and maintenance on submarine systems
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Provide oversight to Test Specialists executing procedures
• Draft and maintain test documentation and work instructions
• Coordinate lockout/tagout procedures for safety
Requirements:
• 8+ years of related technical experience
• Degree in engineering technology or equivalent
• Eligible for AScT, CET, EIT, or P. Eng. designation
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to maintain Canadian Security Clearance
Ensure operational excellence in national defense through testing and technical leadership.
