Shape the future of healthcare at BD as a Senior Supplier Development Engineer, located in Irvine, California. This role requires expertise in engineering strategies, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to optimize production processes.
As a senior engineer, you will manage supplier relationships while leading experiments and process validation to enhance manufacturing efficiencies. Your leadership will guide the technical development of prototypes while providing mentorship to less experienced engineers through hands-on support and collaboration across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead identification and implementation of optimization opportunities
• Develop and analyze manufacturing process protocols
• Train and coach colleagues on advanced procedures
• Resolve compliance and manufacturing challenges
• Oversee project plans to meet stakeholder expectations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• At least 4 years of engineering experience
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical device regulations
