Join SpaceX as a Merlin Development Engineer and impact rocket propulsion technology. This position focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of engine hardware, requiring innovative design and testing strategies.
As part of the Merlin hardware development team, you'll drive improvements in engine performance and reliability. This role includes managing test campaigns and ensuring that all hardware meets rigorous standards for flight readiness. Your collaboration with engineering and mission-critical teams will be essential for overcoming launch challenges and pushing the boundaries of space technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design, analysis, and operation of propulsion systems
• Develop and execute hardware qualification tests
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality
• Address daily issues during production and test phases
• Engage with customers, briefing on hardware changes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or testing
• Proficient in CAD design systems
• Strong understanding of combustion and fluid mechanics
• Experience in risk assessment and root-cause analysis
