This position focuses on planning and executing multi-disciplinary fish passage projects, requiring strong experience in fisheries engineering. With a minimum of 6 years in the field, you'll work alongside engineers and scientists to develop designs that comply with regulatory standards. Key tools include AutoCAD and various modeling software as you support projects in Canada and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead structural design and analysis efforts for fish passage
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams for project delivery
• Develop engineering designs through consultations across disciplines
• Support design drawing preparation with 2D and 3D tools
• Engage with biologists and regulators throughout project development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng)
• Professional Engineer license or commitment to licensing
• Six years of experience in fisheries or related engineering
• Experience with structural components and hydraulic analyses
• Authorized to work in Canada and responsibilities may include travel
