Shape the next generation of home robotics as a Senior Electrical Engineer at 1X, focusing on actuator and drive systems for our flagship robot, NEO. Apply your engineering skills to improve robot functionality and safety.
In this impactful role at 1X, you will be tasked with designing and delivering robust electrical systems for humanoid robots. You’ll lead critical electrical architecture decisions, balancing performance and manufacturability while working with multidisciplinary teams to refine and validate designs throughout development. Your contributions will directly affect robot operability in homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and release high-performance electrical subsystems
• Develop electrical and control systems for robotics
• Validate hardware from prototypes through production phases
• Apply EMI/ESD best practices for reliability improvements
• Collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical engineering roles
• Expertise in circuit design and development lifecycle
• Knowledge of power systems and embedded hardware
• Hands-on experience using diagnostic instruments
