Position: Level II Test Engineer for Hypersonic Systems
Join Stratolaunch as a Level II Test Engineer and engage directly with hypersonic vehicle programs in Mojave, CA. This role combines hands-on environmental testing with comprehensive systems validation.

In this position, you will be integral to the environmental test team, contributing to the testing and validation of the Talon vehicle systems. You’ll participate in defining test plans, executing tests, and analyzing failures while managing both ground and flight testing components. Your expertise will be key in ensuring system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop environmental test plans and procedures

• Conduct both onsite and offsite tests

• Manage scheduling for test execution

• Perform failure analysis and devise recovery strategies

• Maintain and operate testing equipment like vibration tables

Requirements:

• Background in electrical or avionics engineering

• Understanding of environmental testing processes

• Strong initiative and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to shifting workloads

• Must achieve and maintain a DoD security clearance
