Join IMP Aerospace & Defence as a Fleet Support Engineer, where you'll enhance the Cormorant fleet through technical evaluations and initiatives. This crucial role focuses on aircraft part inspections and corrective actions.
In this position, you will report to the CH149 Fleet Support Supervisor, collaborating on engineering activities essential for the fleet’s transition. You’ll engage in developing inspection packages, reviewing maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. This is an opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and review inspection packages for aircraft components
• Evaluate aircraft maintenance programs and technical documentation
• Implement corrective actions on service reports and directives
• Provide technical advice to Main Operating Bases
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Requirements:
•
B.Eng. or
B.Sc. in Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of airworthiness regulations preferred
• Experience in an aircraft engineering environment desirable
• Clear written and oral communication skills
• Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program requirements
