Position: Bowmanville Project Coordinator at Metrolinx
Join Metrolinx as a Project Coordinator stationed in the Bowmanville Extensions Office, where teamwork drives every project. This role involves coordinating design, procurement, and construction to ensure successful project delivery.

Based at 111 Richmond Street with an anticipated move to Whitby, your role will be vital in aiding the Senior Manager. You will direct external consultants, ensuring compliance with Metrolinx's standards and effectively navigating legislative requirements. Your expertise in project management will help mitigate risks and maintain budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage consultant activities for compliance with engineering standards

• Coordinate with external agencies to ensure regulatory adherence

• Support the Construction Manager with scheduling and risk mitigation

• Review site conditions and manage project documentation

• Facilitate final project handover to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent

• Minimum five years’ experience in transit facility projects

• In-depth understanding of project management principles

• Proficiency in writing and managing communication

• Ontario “G” Driver’s Licence for regular site visits
