About Our Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Building Performance Lead, the Building Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for supporting building performance initiatives to support the Nova Scotia Environmental Goals and Climate Reduction Act. Working with project managers, engineers, trades personnel and building specialists, to improve asset management, facility operations, and maintenance, to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Building Portfolio Specialist is responsible for providing specialized and/or administrative work in developing performance initiatives to support the Nova Scotia Environmental Goals and Climate Reduction Act, will have to work independently and support/evaluate the projects done by service providers through all stages of the project delivery.
You will be required to be in possession of a valid Driver’s License that will allow you to frequent project sites regularly and independently; and exposure to various energy standards and codes including NECB, ASHRAE , and LEED, Zero Carbon Building Standards.
